The Milwaukee Brewers hold a three-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays after winning Game 3 on Monday night. The score was 10-1, a margin that leaves the Brewers needing just one more victory to secure the World Series championship.

Robert Gasser pitched a dominant start for Milwaukee in the decisive game. The offensive outburst from the Brewers effectively ended any momentum the Rays had built during the regular season. This win extends Milwaukee's winning streak in the series to three consecutive games.

The next opportunity for the Brewers to clinch the franchise's first title arrives Tuesday night. Game 4 is set for 8 p.m. Eastern time at Tropicana Field. The matchup will be broadcast on Fox, Fox Deportes, and fubo. If Milwaukee wins, they will complete a sweep and finish the season.

Tampa Bay earned its spot in the World Series by defeating the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS. Junior Caminero hit a home run in Game 6 to secure the pennant for the Rays. This is the team's first appearance in the Fall Classic since 2020 and only their third in franchise history.

The Brewers advanced to the World Series by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. The team has not competed in the postseason since 1982. Neither the Brewers nor the Rays have won a World Series title in their respective histories. This means a new champion will be crowned regardless of which team wins the next two games.

The series schedule includes potential Games 5, 6, and 7 if Tampa Bay manages to win two straight. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday night in Tampa. Games 6 and 7 would take place in Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday, respectively. All remaining games are scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The path to this point involved intense series in the earlier rounds. The Rays beat the Yankees in the ALDS and the Guardians in the ALCS. The Brewers defeated the Padres in the NLDS and the Dodgers in the NLCS. The current series stands at 3-0 in favor of Milwaukee after the Monday night result.
